Security and Your Data
What we collect, where it goes and who can see it, in plain terms. The site offers free calculators and guides and a free email newsletter; none of them asks for your account details.
What happens to the numbers you type into a calculator?
They stay in your browser. The calculators do their arithmetic on your own device, so the balances, ages and income you enter are not sent to us or stored by us. Close the page and they are gone.
Two things are remembered on your own device for convenience: the email address you last used to download a template, and your cookie choice. Both stay in your browser's local storage, not on our servers, and clearing your browser data removes them.

We do not ask for account numbers, Social Security numbers or passwords, and we do not connect to your bank or brokerage accounts. We do not sell or rent your email address.
Where is it stored, and who can see it?
The site runs on Vercel and every page is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. Email addresses you give us are stored in a database run by Supabase, sent through Resend when we email you, and announced to our own team in a private Slack channel so we can follow up. Those providers process the data for us under their own security programs; only the founders and the people who help us run the site can see it.
Forms are screened for spam and rate-limited so automated sign-ups do not flood the list. The details of cookies and analytics are in our cookie policy, and your rights over your data are in our privacy policy.
How can you remove your email address?
Reply to any email we send, or contact us, and ask us to delete your address; we will remove it from our list and database.
What does the newsletter keep about you?
Only your email address. The newsletter does not ask for your name, your balances or any account details, and there is no account to create or password to keep. You can stop the emails at any time by replying to one or contacting us, and ask us to delete the address as described above.
